Life: March Round Up

I'ts nearly the end of April and I completely forgot about this round up! Woops!

  1. Well I went to go and see 5 Seconds of Summer for the 2nd time with my friend Kabya at Shepherds Bush Empire, you can read my review or that gig here. It was an awesome gig and one of the best nights out I've ever had! We didn't have the best experience with the fans last time but this time we met some really sweet girls.
  2. Talking of the gig I bought a new camera the day before it is a Canon and is awesome! I managed to take some awesome photos and videos. You can take a look at the videos on my Youtube channel, I'll be attending more gigs soon so keep updated.
  3. A few days later I went up to York to visit my friend Hannah, she's moving back to London soon but I wanted to have some time with her whilst she was still up North. It was great to visit the city; we drank alcohol, explored York and ate far too much.
  4. When I was travelling back I somehow managed to book my coach ticket for the day before but the coach driver was so nice and let me use the coach anyway! So kind of him!
  5. I also dyed my hair purple, it was more of a bland violet really! It had more of an effect then any other hair dye but made my hair so dry :(
  6. I went to go and see The Grand Budapest Hotel with my dad and sister and we all loved it! It's a pretty quirky movie but it is so clever and funny and I recommend it to everyone!
  7. I saw Mitch for a few days too, he came down and we hung out which was cool.
  8. I had a slight drama as my laptop charger decided to die at one point! I had to order another one, I literally didn't have my laptop for 2 days and I was so lost. That is shocking I know.
  9. Back to work after my week off and it has been so hectic because of SALE. I worked past 11pm on SALE launch night, it was so long. We will be having a student event coming up soon so if you're student be sure to check out River Island in the next few weeks for discount :D

I'm excited for April but I don't have any gigs planned which makes me sad :( It is my dads 60th party though :)

Music: April 2014 Playlist

This month has a bit of a theme....guys with instruments in the form of pop/rock and pop/punk bands but guess what? I LOVE THEM ALL! I dislike, however, how tricky it was to find up to date music! I mean I have Bedlight For Blue Eyes on here! Old school right??

If you have any decent bands/musicians you like let me know, I love new music and at the moment my favourite artists aren't releasing anything new!
  1. Sing - Ed Sheeran
  2. Give Me Love - Demi Lovato
  3. Disconnected - 5 Seconds of Summer
  4. Upperhand - Meaning in Masterpiece
  5. Thin Red Line - Never Let This Go
  6. I Love You - Woodkid
  7. Last Night - The Vamps
  8. Go All Night - Radio Drive By
  9. Cold Night - You Me At Six
  10. Jumper - Bedlight For Blue Eyes

Life: April 2014 Loves

April Loves is looking pretty different to March isn't it? I'm not sure why, I'd still love everything from all the previous months, that is for sure but there is much more black in this month with dashes of pastels (of course.)

  1. Cocaine & Caviar Snapback, £20, I love hats and I think snap-backs are really awesome but I know they can be tricky to for girls to pull off, either way I totally love this one
  2. River Island Leather Jacket, £60 I honestly cannot keep using my leather jacket and with this one I would get 50% discount so that would be just £30!
  3. ASOS Bandana, £6, I am totally obsessed with headbands and this one from ASOS is such a delightful shade, the lilac is girly but the print and style toughens it up
  4. Topshop Earrings, £7.50, How cool is this little collection? I love how Topshop present their jewelry too, I plan to have the majority of my ear pierced this would be perfect
  5. Nike Trainers, £69, OMG THESE ARE AMAZING. I cannot express my love for these. I may have to invest I can just tell they would be mega comfortable and the print is awesome.
  6. Miss Selfridge Skort, £25, The skorts at work are a weird fit on me but I'm still keeping my eye out for one and I love the subtlety of this one-plus the zip detail and colour
  7. River Island Tunic, £20, Basketball jerseys are a favourite of mine and I may pick this one when our new uniform comes around (although that's not until May...)
  8. Lime Crime Eyeliner in Orchidaceous, £8.30, There is some controversy around the Lime Crime brand but there is no denying the vibrancy of their products and I need a new purple eyeliner.
  9. New Look Cardigan, £19.99, I recently took a trip to New Look and their knitwear range was to die for! So many sorbet shades ideal for summer
  10. Boohoo Jeans, £25, I don't think I could rock candy coloured trousers but I do still love them, this pair in particular caught my eye
  11. Soap & Glory Lotion, £5.50, Soap and Flory honestly create such fabulous products and I love a little shimmer in my life!
  12. Benefit Watts Up Highlighter, £24.50, Speaking of shimmer I really want to invest in a highlighter, my friend Hannah swear buys them and she is a beauty guru!
