Life: November 2015 Loves

This is quite a beauty inspired post, there are so much awesome make up products I'm after but they're all so expensive!

  1. Kendall + Kylie for Topshop Jumper Dress, £55, This looks like the snuggliest jumper dress! I love the Jenner girls new Topshop range it's much better than their summer one, lots of Christmas and winter staples.
  2. Urban Decay Lipstick in Obsession, £15.50, I have 1993 by Urban Decay and I LOVE IT. I recently got rid of my bubblegum pink lipstick and this is the perfect replacement.
  3. Boohoo Over The Knee Boot,£40, I love the berry colour of these boots and how good would they look with the jumper dress? I'm not sure I could pull it off but I might as well try.
  4. Fairytale Pandora Charm,£30, I haven't bought a Pandora charm in a while but this fairytale book one if just me down to a T and it's only £30, potential Christmas present to myself :D
  5. River Island Hold Me Holdall, £60, I travel around the UK quite a lot as I have family and friends dotted everywhere so I should invest in a holdall and this bright slogan one is ideal, plus I wouldn't lose it!
  6. Anastasia Beverley Hills Illuminator in So Hollywood, £28, This highlighter is just a dream, I'm definitely investing at some point as ABH is great quality and a cruelty free company.
  7. Rosie Fortescue Crown Ring, £65, Rosie's entire jewellery line is fabulous, I would love to own the whole collection....
  8. Iconic Cream Contour Palette, £32.99, I ordered a powder contour palette but it just doesn't work for my skin :(

Life: September & October 2015 Round Up

 Could it BE more Autumn?

  1. My friend Neda left River Island in September, so we all went out for some drinks as her leaving do, it's fun to get everyone together and the pubs was so cosy.
  2. I went to go and see a fair few films these past two months. I watched Legend with my sister and my dad-Tom Hardy was brilliant! I watched Everest with Lauren, so sad but great movie, just be prepared to be depressed, we then watched Sicario-super edge of your seat thriller!
  3. Me and Mitch checked out The Martian and it's probably one of my favourite mvoies of 2015, Matt Damon is spectacular as always and carries the movie.
  4. I left River Island at the end October, my last day there was Halloween. It was a bittersweet final day, I have more than loved working for the high street retailer and have met some of the most imporant people in my life there but circumstances meant I had to leave.
  5. They all bought me the loveliest goodbye gifts; Disney Couture jewllery, vegeterian sweets, Body Shop vouchers, Beauty and the Beast PJs, a silver bracelet and the promise of a new tattoo!
  6. I'm now working at Boux Avenue, an underwear store. Going from mens fashion to womens underwear is quite the change!
  7. Myself and Lauren went out for Halloween and loads of us were supposed to go but it fell apart at the last minute, we ended up queuing for an hour and it ruined the night! SO frustrating when we'd already paid for tickets! Damn you Hippodrome.
  8. I invested in some new Revolution make up and my sister came to visit from Bristol and gave me my late birthday present, it was Urban Decay lipstick in 1993 and lipliner in Liar-I've wanted them for AGES
  9. I decided to throw away loads of make up that tests on animals so I'm having to invest in some crueltry free companies, expensive but I love new beauty products.
  10. Mitch came to visit and has decided to give me his XBox- SO EXCITED- all the games that go with it too!!!!!

I have so much planned for the next few months, I'm totally looking forward to November :D

Fashion: Work Uniform August '15 - December '15

Uniform came about whilst I was off work, it's tricky because the air conditioning is still broken at work but we're starting to get knitwear amd polo necks in!
I decided to buy products from the Autumn/Winter range in the hope it will be fixed-even though it's been dead since May!

As always had over to the River Island website to buy any of these and check out all the seasonal newness.

Life: My Birthday

I turned 26 (eeeek so old) on 17th August now closer to 30 then 20!
  1. I did a couple of things to celebrate, I went out for a meal with my sister, my dad, his girlfriend and daughter. We went to a restaurant in Teddington and I ate too much food, as per usual.
  2. I then went out on the Saturday night with a few of friends from work, it was my friend Tony's birthday too so a few of his mates came along too.
  3. We just went to Pryzm, which I haven't been to since it changed from Oceana, but if you a cheesy and relatively cheap night out it's pretty decent.
  4. Mitch came down the day after and stayed for a week, we hadn't seen each other for three months so to have him here for a week is awesome. I was so lucky and had an awesome present haul!
  5. My dad bought me an new ipod, my mum bought me fairy lights for my bed and a boots voucher for some new make up.
  6. Mitch bought me a stunning Disney Couture ring, loads of Harry Potter sweets (Bertie Blotts Every Flavour Beans, Peppermint Toads, Fizzing Whizzbees) he gave me this amazing Harry Potter film artefact box which is incredible and filled with memorabilia from the movie including;Harry's Hogwarts acceptance letter, Sirius's wanted poster, ticket to the Quidditch world cup, the letter Lily writes to Sirius that Harry finds, the photo of the original Order of the Phoenix, Hogwarts luggage tag, Dumbeldore's army signature list, Quidditch world cup ticket. I think I'm going to frame all the letters and images in one frame. The whole contents excited me and gave me some serious goosebumps, nothing stays with us like the things we loved when we were young.
  7. He also took me to go and see Wicked!!!! I have wanted to see it for so long and it was incredible, we were a third row from the front, I loved every second- and totally cried. We went to Jamie's Italian in Victoria and it was really nice, the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious.
  8. My sister bought me Kim Kardashian's Selfish book (yes!) and an adorable Tupperware set with unicorns on
  9. All the clan at work bought me Remus Lupin's wand (he is like, total fav) my friend Lauren framed a photo of us which holds some meaning and a unicorn pad and my friend Neda brought around a huge chocolate cake which I consumed in approx two days
  10.  Mitch's mum bought me new perfume Paul Smith; Rose and his brother bought me BIGGEST bag of Swedish Fish and Twizzlers, Mitch's parents live in America and he had just come back with delicious American candy.

Music: July 2015 Playlist

Hardly any of my favourite musicians are releasing new music at the moment so this months playlist has a couple of gems from the past year as well as this weeks chart hits that are getting me in the summer party mood.
  1. Pierce the Veil - Divine Zero
  2. As It Is - Cheap Shots & Set Backs
  3. All Time Low - Runaways
  4. FIDLAR - No Waves
  5. Aston Merrygold - Get Stupid
  6. Natalie La Rose - Somebody
  7. Demi Lovato - Cool For The Summer
  8. Fifth Harmony feat. Kid Ink - I'm Worth It

Life:June 2015 Round Up

Summer has officially started!
  1. I would like to say that I am enjoying the summery weather but the air conditioning at work is STILL BROKEN. It's actually insane, it hit 41 degrees the other day! Unbearable conditions.
  2. I went for food and to the cinema with Lauren and Marion on pay day, we went to see San Andreas, edge of your sit stuff! I love having a day out with the girls :)
  3. I also went to Frankie and Bennys and to see Jurassic World with my dad and sister, it was pretty good! It has a slight misogynistic tone though which annoyed me a little. If you watch it, you'll understand.
  4. Myself and Mitch have booked tickets for two upcoming gigs and plan to buy tickets for Vans Warped Tour in November. We're going to see Motley Crue and go to the Carnival of Madness as well, should be pretty sweet.
  5. Speaking of gigs I went to see 5 Seconds of Summer with my friend Kabya for the third time, it was at Wembley Arena- I saw them at a tiny bar three years ago! Crazy how far they've come.
  6. On the last song, however, Michael the guitarist became messed up in the pyros an his hair and face caught on fire, it was all very dramatic.
  7. The new series of Orange is the new Black appeared on Netflix in June so that took up a few evenings of my life, the addition of Ruby Rose was awesome, been crushing on her for a few years now.
  8. I've also started watching Ray Donovan, it has Kate Moennig in who I am a massive fan of, I'm currently halfway through season 2 and I'm loving it.
  9. Mitch came down in June, twice in fact! It was super sunny and hot both times. We headed to central London the first time and check out the Aquarium as well as trip to Richmond where we bought cake from Hummingbird Bakery. I had rainbow cake and it was the most delicious thing EVER!
  10. We went shopping in London the second time around, Mitch bought some long shorts and bought a crop top; both from H&M
  11. We're both reading Harry Potter at the moment, I've just completed The Order of the Phoenix and Mitch is on Goblet of Fire, its the first time for him! Its probably my fourt and I keep finding notes that fifteen year old me has left in the book....
  12. I had my hair cut and dyed, I'm still working on removing the green and going back to blonde ends for the summer but the mint is pretty stubborn!
I have a few things planned for July, its a friends birthday and me and my sister who I live with are finally getting kittens!!!! So excited!!

Life: June Loves 2015

This isn't much of a summery selection, I feel like there has been much summer style that has caught my attention this season. We've started getting all the Autumn tones in at work; berry, camel and dark green pieces.
  1. Local Heroes iPhone case, £15, This phone case is awesome. No more words needed.
  2. New Look Mermaid Clutch, £9.99, I love a clutch for a night out and my love for mermaid inspired products is still going strong plus this beauty is less than a tenner!
  3. River Island Tube Pants, £38, My tube pants from work are my favourite pair of jeans that I own! I've definitely worn them to death though and I need to invest in a new pair.
  4. Mango Aviators, £8, Seeing as I can';t find the oversized YSL style sunglasses I'm after I've resorted to hunting down some over-sized mirrored avaitors and these seem ideal.
  5. Grey Vans Slip Ons, £55, My black lace up Vans are probably my favourite pair of flats but I think these pale grey slip on Vans will be perf for the up and coming cooler months.
  6. H&M Studded Jacket, £39.99, I saw this in the Oxford Street store- they have the best stuff in that store- I'm not sure I really need another denim jacket but I love this one.

Life: Venice Vacation 2015

I decided to take Mitch to Venice for his birthday and it was AWESOME.
  • This is just a mini round up of our trip and some tips and tricks for those thinking of going.
  • I booked with EasyJet and the organisation and prepping itself was fine the flight however was not. We were joined by a criminal who decided to scream and cry through a great deal of the flight. I have since contacted Easy Jet but have received little response. Just a heads up to be careful when booking your flight!
  • When we arrived we were both completely blown away. Venice is like a magical kingdom you read about in fairytales and only see in fantasy movies. It is completely mesmerizing.
  • We found our hotel relatively easily, we had a great location that was just a few minutes walk from the Strada Nova- the main strip full of little shops, ice cream parlours and classic Italian restaurants.
  • We grabbed a slice of pizza and some ice cream, I chose pistachio, the start of something for sure, I ended up eating so much pistachio flavoured stuff as it was so divine!
  • We managed to visit nearly all of the areas, we didn't venture out to the Lido, Murano or other islands as we were only there four four days.
  • If you want to be with easy access of the lively areas of Venice I would suggest staying in the Cannaregio sector but if you want to be further away from it all go for Dorsoduro.
  • I managed to eat pizza everyday and nearly gain half a stone!! Still trying to exercise those extra pounds off but it was totally worth it.
  • We bought these city passes from VeneziaUnica which meant we could visit loads of the historical and religious sites often without queuing and paying on the day. If you're visiting Venice to gain some insight into the place as well as its history etc I would highly recommend purchasing one.
  • To be honest you don;t necessarily need to visit those places, me and Mitch think we'll go back at some point for a mini break where we can do some creative thinking and writing- it is definitely an inspirational place.
  • I loved all of the places we visited but eating pizza and drink a beer right by the ocean was a highlight as was the Museo Correr in particular the enchanting ballroom, see below images:
  • We of course visited Saint Marks square and although extremely pricey the rest of Venice is not, I wouldn't say it is any more expensive then London, Paris or Barcelona.
  • As with all places there are pros and cons of visiting Venice and the pros most certainly outweigh the cons!
  • Venice has beautiful scenery, delicious food, culture variation, secluded but interesting location, lively history and some glorious architecture

Go explore!!

Life: May 2015 Round Up

May just sped by. It was a pretty chill month -prepping for Summer!!
  1. I took Mitch to Venice for his birthday and it was awesome! We've wanted to head over their for sometime so I figured his birthday was the perfect opportunity to do so. It was supposed to be a surprise but I blurted it out by accident, I guess it meant he had some time to save some money! I did a little blog post on our trip that you can check out here
  2. I worked for the rest of the month and as our store manager was on holiday we were doing a couple of extra hours.
  3. It was time to select our uniform for this season, you can check out my picks here
  4. I went to Giraffe one evening with Lauren and Neda who I work with as well as Hazelle and Millie who used to work with us but both left for other fashion retailers a few months back
  5. I love the food and Giraffe it always feel so fresh and healthy-even if it's not! It was great to catch up and they have a 2for1 offers on cocktails as well. I had a Pina Colada and a Strawberry Mule, although I must add make sure you definitely order them before 7pm because we had some issues with that!
  6. My Uncle Martin came down to visit and we headed out to Nandos with him, my sister, my dad and my dads girlfriend. I tried Sangria for the first time! It's delicious!
  7. I received a Save The Date from my best friend for her wedding!! So excited seeing as I'm Maid of Honor and all!! :D
  8. Me and my mate from work, Tony-who is currently in the process of having a Harry Potter tattoo sleeve done might I add-decided to have a joint Disney themed party in August!
  9. Speaking of, I've started reading the Harry Potter books again and am just about to start Order of the Phoenix which, hilariously, has 'Emily-Rose Vierke 9HM' hand written on the first page. Oh so many moons ago!
  10. I also had my hair cut and darkened just before we went on a big night out with everyone from work. It was so much fun!! We just headed to Kingston for one of the best nights, it was Lisa's birthday and Chantelle's leaving do so they had a joint bash and everyone had loads of fun, I was severely hung over the next day! My sister made me veggie toad in the hole, mash and peas though followed by crumble- I wasn't entirely convinced it would stay down....

I'm really excited about the Summer, do you have much planned?

Fashion: Work Uniform May'15 - August '15

I felt like this set came around really quickly! Again, as always I struggled with what to buy because I see so much stuff come in at work. Sometimes I'll love it and then when I try it on it looks awful.
I also bought a gold choker and the black tassel camisole is part of River Island's Perfect Pieces range, that features must have products, definitely worth checking out.

Head over to River Island to buy these products.

Music: May 2015 Playlist

I totally forgot to post this! I'll be creating a new one for June soon but oh well, new music is always a good idea.

Life: May 2015 Loves

  1. Skinny Elena 'Spell Book' Vegan Clutch, £145, I fell crazy in love with this awesome bag and then I realized they do both leather and animal friendly vegan clutches! This will be mine one day, I haven't loved a clutch so much in some time.
  2. River Island 'Erin' Jeans, £42, These look like the Tube Pants I usually buy from River Island but with a slightly more denim look to them. I haven't been able to find Tube Pants in dark colours recently so maybe these Erin jeans are replacing them
  3. Miss Selfridge Dress, £45, Miss Selfridge is my go-to store for dresses, I love their fit and they always have awesome colours and body-con is my favourite shape, this hot lime green pick will be a perfect addition to my summer wardrobe.
  4. Disney Couture Necklace, £85, I love a quirky statement necklace and Disney Couture is easily one of my favourite jewelry designers. This is an incredible piece that I you could wear for day or night and every season!
  5. Paul Smith 'Rose' Perfume, £25, I tested this at the airport when I went to Venice and I fell in love! It's not too expensive either.
  6. Topshop 'Resort' Heels, £49, These style heels seem to be everywhere at the moment but is my favourite colour and print combination so far and under £50 isn't bad for a summer party heel.
  7. Accessorize Heart Rings, £6, How adorable are these rings? I love stacking rings and these would inject some colour into my usual silver and gold rings
  8. Drop Dead 'Mermaid' Shorts, £45, Drop Dead do the coolest pieces. These mermaid shorts are my new love, at £45 they're not cheap but I think they are totally worth it, I'm just not sure I'd ever wear teeny tiny shorts!
  9. Nike 'Thea' Trainers, £75, My Roshe trainers were such a great purchase I have joined the Nike trainer obsession and this delightful aqua Thea's are to die for.
  10. Mac 'Fleshpot' Lipstick, £15.50, Everybody raves about MAC lipstick and I recently lost my nude lip colour so I may finally invest in a decent MAC one

Life: March & April 2015 Round Up

This is a SUPER jam packed round up as I completely missed my March round up!

  1. I visited Mitch in Devon at the start of March, I like having a break down there, it's so different to London even if there isn't much to do! We went to Exeter and did some shopping and went to watch Focus at the cinema. Mitch also bought me the coolest top from Drop Dead
  2. My train journey wasn't so fun as I ended up being four hours later then planned because of train delays! Not cool.
  3. I went out in Kingston with Lauren, Charlotte and Marion and it was such a good night! Hippodrome is a decent night out as it's pretty cheap and they play cheesy music which I kinda love. Lauren fell down the stairs before we even reached the club though! It was hilarious although she had a massive bruise on her legs for the next few weeks.
  4. I had two gigs to attend in March first was Papa Roach at The Roundhouse with Mitch. They were brilliant, I haven't listened to Papa Roach in some time but they are a classic band for me and The Roundhouse is an ace venue.
  5. I then went to see All Time Low at Wembley with Lauren. It was her first proper gig and she loved it! I've wanted to see All Time Low live for some time and they didn't disappoint, totally underrated band in my opinion. We made a night of it and met a cute couple on the train and our mate Tony picked us up which meant we didn't have to leave early. Someone did sit in her seats though, a pair of moody teenage girls who did not appreciate us making them move.
  6. We had SALE launch at work in mid March and it was such a tediously long night, working in retail can be a pain, I ended work all weekend too.
  7. I started watching the show Empire and finished it within the week! It's an addictive show with some drama, comedy and lots of RnB music.
  1. The first weekend in April it was Easter I went for a country walk and Sunday lunch with my sister Bryz, my dad and his girlfriend Veronica and it was so delicious.
  2. The weekend after Mitch came down and we had another gig, this time we went to see Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens it was AWESOME. Pierce the Veil are now in my top 5 favourite bands to see live. I'm still in the process of writing a review, the energy and the talent from the four guys was insane.
  3. The following weekend me and Lauren went on a mate date for Pizza Hut and I introduced her to the deliciousness that is cookie dough, can you believe she hadn't tried it before? It's so ridiculously yum. We also went to see Furious 7 and I cried like you would not believe, it is so bloody sad! Still action-packed and thrilling as all the rest but the absence of Paul Walker towards to end is emotional.
  4. It was my dads birthday on the Saturday and my sister Amber came up from Bristol and we took my dad on a surprise trip to Crazy Golf- Jurassic Park themed, how cool, is that?! It was so much fun! My dad loves golf he plays at least twice a week so he of course won but I came second!! No one could believe it :D
  5. My mum came to visit at the end of April and we all went for a pub lunch with my oldest sister Sarah and her two children and my sister who I live with that was also super yum and it's been nice weather as well.
  6. It was Mitch's birthday at the end of April but I'll cover that in May as his birthday spans the whole week.....

I cannot wait for the rest of the year! I have so much planned and 2015 is turning out awesome :) I hope you guys are having a fabulous year!

Life: March 2015 Loves

Are you in the mood for Spring? I sure am, I cannot wait for Easter and then for the joys of Summer. Here are the things I am craving this March:

  1. River Island Slogan Bag, £55, I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it our River Insider magazine, come pay day I'm definitely buying it!
  2. Illustrated People Skirt, £30, The bodycon skirt is awesome, it would cool and casual with vans and a denim jacket or paired with heels for a night out
  3. Miss Selfridge Faux Leather Jacket, £49, I'm after a coloured leather jacket to throw over a dress in summer, both Miss Selfridge and River Island have some lovely ones.
  4. Missguided Pink Stiletto, £30, How hot are these? I'm such a sucker for heels and I only own one pair of pink one and they're heeled sandals so these stilettos are a must
  5. Boohoo 'Daisy' Sunglasses, £6, I'm totally obsessing over sunglasses at the moment and £6 is a complete steal!
  6. Benefit 'Sun Beam' Highlighter, £19.50, I've nearly ran out of this beauty must have, it lasts for ages and is a staple for the up and coming months when you have a tan
  7. ASOS Skull Watch, £20, I'm not usually into watches but this ASOS beautiful caught my eye when I was flicking through their website the other day and it's only £20!

Fashion: Work Uniform February '14 - April '15

This is always a trick period because it's transitional layout and stock, half A/W and half S/S so I had a struggle deciding what to buy.

All available online and in store from River Island, the jeans have even gone into promo for £25!

Music: March 2015 Playlist

So here is my March playlist!

Media is hating me at the moment I can't put any music on my ipod because the lead is messed up and bit torrent would download anything!

  2. Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do
  3. Ed Sheeran - Dirrty (Christina Aguilera cover)
  4. Hollywood Undead - Usual Suspects

Life: February Round Up

Spring is coming! Woohoo! February wasn't as busy as January but March has definitely picked up.

  1. I went and had my hair cut at the start of February, I had a fair bit cut off. It was in dire need of a trim and my roots seriously needed doing, I'm still rocking green ends though.
  2. I celebrated Valentines Day with Lauren and a night out in Kingston, it was SO MUCH FUN. I love the pre-drinking, getting ready session we have before and Hippodrome can always be relied on to play some brilliant cheesy tunes. Too many free drinks and a great deal of dancing ensued.
  3. I went and had my nails done with my sister and a new place I've not tried before. It was only £20 for a full set of acrylics which is pretty decent; I went for square and lilac with glitter this time but have now changed to black and turquoise sparkles!
  4. My new Reebok trainers finally arrived and they are so pretty, I love some pastel pink and lilac action! I also bought a new phone case that has taken me forever to hunt down- It's Mean Girls inspired
  5. We have just been given our new uniform allowance so I have to purchase some new clothes soon!
  6. One of the girls I used to work with Millie, recently left and moved to North London and it was her birthday in February so a group of us were supposed to go out but disaster struck the day before; my tooth fell out!
  7. I ended up going for an emergency appointment with the dentist and he gave me four fillings with no pre-injection! I had a banging headache the next day and my mouth hurt quite a bit, not ideal for a night of raving. Sugar free sweets and protein bars for me now!
  8. I decided not to go, Millie was totally fine with it but I felt guilty as hell, bailing is my least favourite thing, I pride myself on not agreeing to something unless I know I can go! We promised to meet up soon, it's been too long.
  9. The week after it was my sisters boyfriend birthday and we headed around their for beers and curry, my brother who I haven't seen for ages was there so it was good to catch up.
  10. I ended going out for a curry too the weekend after with three girls I used to work with, it was so much fun to chat, chill and drink. Keeping in contact with people can be so hard but it's so important to stay in touch. We went to The Mogul, I totally recommend it.
  11. TV wise I've managed to watch an entire series of The Librarians, I love it! Fantasy is totally my thing, plus there is a hot Australian Korean actor who sent me so Twitter love, so y'know, there's that.
  12. As for Music, Sleeping with Sirens keep releasing new stuff which is awesome, still waiting on Pierce the Veil though and I discovered a band called As It Is who I am loving.

March has two gigs, a few nights out, a trip to Devon and summer prepping involved. Cannot wait for 2015 to continue.

Life: January Round Up

2015 is already turning out to be quite eventful! January certainly brought with it some fun and I found the month flew by.

  1. It was one of my best friend Lauren's 20th birthday so a load of us headed out to Kingston for the night. I love getting dressed up with the girls, pre-drinking, tanning and doing make up before a big cheesy night of dancing and drinking.
  2. I had a week off from work and managed to cram so much in! Mitch came down for five days and we went to the National History Museum, watched Whiplash, Kingsman: Secret Service and John Wick. They were all good, John Wick wasn't quite as good as the other two but enjoyable nonetheless. We managed to get tickets for an early screening of Kingsman and I'm so glad, it was awesome! We also ate out at Jamies Diner which was delicious and had a little trip to Drop Dead and MItch bought me a new hat :)
  3. I spent the day with my ultimate BFF Keyla too, she's just recently got engaged and guess whose in charge of the Hen Night?! :D So excited
  4. I also went out for pizza with my friend Hannah who lives in London and I hadn't seen her for a while, it must have been the fourth time I had pizza in the week! Totally addicted.
  5. I had my hair dyed a few times and cut through January, the ends are now an oceanic aquamarine colour and I'm thinking about going shorter with more colour but it's defos higher maintenance.
  6. I had my first ever smear test and it was nowhere near as bad as you think it's going to be. I think the age needs to be lowered for this anyway as it is a scary thought, it's a quick and easy procedure which you needn't be scared of, just get it over and done with
  7. I was supposed to have an interview in January for a supervisor role in Kingston but I ended up going with my friend to the hospital and couldn't rearrange, I honestly think what will be will be so that job role clearly wasn't for me
  8. It was also my sisters 30th birthday and we celebrated it by going to The Folly in London with friends and family and my it was eventful! Let me just suggest that you never go to The Folly EVER. We pre-booked and re-ordered our food a fair few days before but we had to wait over an hour for our table then another half an hour of food which was cold and under cooked! Horrendous. In spite of that cocktails were in full swing and I ended up at a casino! So a good night!

It is two of my best best birthdays in February both Hannah and Millie's so some good nights out coming up!

Life: January 2015 Loves

I realize how extremely summery this latest post of Loves is and it's only January! But I can dream, right?

  1. Topshop Dress, £34, As soon as I saw this I fell in love, whether or not it would be a flattering shape on me is a whole different matter but it's perfect for Summer
  2. Topshop Tote, £42, I feel like a simple black tote with strap versatility is a necessity and I don't currently own one, this Topshop handbag is ideal and would got with every day outfit
  3. Red Herring Watch, £40, This caught my eye when I was doing some online shopping, I love the rainbow jewels around the face I think they give it a twist that means it will go with everything!
  4. "If you have..." by Kelly Cutrone Book, £7.99, I've wanted to read her books for ages! Probably most famous for The Hills, Kelly Cutrone seems like such a bad ass and I'm sure that I could learn a lot from her and her determined ways
  5. Smashbox 'Frenchie' Lipliner, £15, I bought a Smashbox foundation recently and I really like it, I've also started to use lip liner for exaggeration and more definition but I would love one in this bubblegum pink shade to match some lipsticks I have
  6. Reebok Classics in Pink, £76, Are these not the prettiest trainers you have ever seen?! These seasonal trainers were once £40 but I can only find the for £65! Therefore I'm in two minds about actually buying them :/
  7. Disney Couture Necklace, £75, I love Disney Couture, my boyfriend bought me the most stunning bracelet from there a few years ago and the thought still devastates me. I totally don't deserve anything lovely from there but this is simply adorable.
  8. River Island "I'm in love..." T-Shirt, £18, I saw this quote on Tumblr a couple of months back and related to it. Now that it's on a T-Shirt at work I think it's a sign to invest...

Life: My Trip to Cincinnati

I headed over to Ohio with Mitch for a week at the end of November meaning we were there for Thanksgiving, it was an awesome time to be in the country,
His parents currently live in Cincinnati so we visited them for just over a week and it was brilliant!
We haven't been on a holiday together before but after five years together we decided it was time to pack up our stuff and go stateside.
The flights were fine; decent food and some good movies! I love flying early in the morning, there is something exciting about it and our flight was at 6am so we were up and out of the house by 3am.
I've been to the West Coast before, I visited California when I was a teenager so it was nice to take a trip to the other side of the country and it is a completely different way of life!
It is the most Southern of he Northern states so it does have some interesting history and Mitch's parents planned lots for us to do; we went to an ice hockey game, ate out at IHOP and The Cheesecake Factory, trip to Carew Tower and we went to a book shop which had over 32 rooms full of different books! We also went to a church and it was amazing! I was so overwhelmed by the whole experience, it is completely different to over here in the UK, they are so lively and excited with everything.
I did a fair bit of shopping as it is ten times cheaper then anywhere I have visited before, I honestly couldn't wrap my head around it, the main things I picked up about America is; everybody loves the English accent ("Ya'll just got the pretty accent!") everything is soooo cheap and there is so much space!
Although being a vegetarian is a little trickier in America, Mitch's parents really got into the swing of things and made a completely vegetarian Thanksgiving meal! I tried sweet potato and marshmallow for the first time and it was DIVINE.
I loved my time over in America and I cannot wait to visit again and at some point, move to the West Coast with Mitch :D

Life: 2015

I have more than abandoned my blog in recent months, since I've been working more hours I have struggled to find the time! This has to change as we roll into 2015, I need to stop being so lazy and get some motivation.
The past year I stuck to some of my new years resolutions but this time around I'm not making any, I figured what will be, will be. I know there are things I want to do, I don't need to make a list or have to deal with pressure of sticking to New Years Resolutions!
2014 was full of lots of excitement, events, drama and a few disasters, I hope 2015 is full of the good and not so much the bad.

What have you got planned for 2015? Anything exciting?
